Windows

At LeWins, we offer a wide range of high-quality windows designed for style, energy efficiency, and durability. Whether you prefer classic or modern designs, our selection includes options to fit every home. Explore the different window types we install to find the perfect match for your space.

Double Hung Windows

Feature two operable sashes that slide up and down, allowing for ventilation from the top, bottom, or both. Classic design, easy to clean, and commonly used in traditional homes.

Casement Windows

Hinged on the side and open outward like a door, providing excellent ventilation and unobstructed views. Operated by a crank, they offer a tight seal for energy efficiency.

Picture

Large, fixed windows designed for uninterrupted views and maximum natural light. Since they don’t open, they provide superior insulation and energy efficiency.

Gliding (Sliding)

Open horizontally along a track, making them easy to use and ideal for wide spaces. Great for modern designs and areas with limited opening clearance

Awning

Hinged at the top and open outward, creating a protective awning effect. Ideal for ventilation in rainy conditions and often used in combination with larger windows.

Hopper

Hinged at the bottom and tilt inward, making them perfect for basements and small spaces. They provide good ventilation and a secure, weather-tight seal.

Bay and Bow Windows

Extend outward from the home, creating extra interior space. Bay windows have three panels (angled), while bow windows have four or more for a curved look.

Garden

Small, box-like windows that project outward, featuring glass on multiple sides to allow ample sunlight. Often installed in kitchens to create a mini greenhouse for plants.

European

European windows combine sleek design with superior insulation. Their tilt-and-turn function ensures versatile ventilation and security, while triple glazing and multi-chamber frames enhance energy efficiency and noise reduction.

Speciality shapes

Specialty shape windows add unique style and character to any space. Custom-designed in various geometric forms, they enhance aesthetics while maintaining energy efficiency and durability.

Entry Doors

The main front door of a home, designed for security, durability, and aesthetics. Available in wood, fiberglass, or steel, they provide insulation, weather resistance, and curb appeal.

Patio Sliding Doors

Large glass doors that slide horizontally on a track, offering a space-saving, modern, and seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. They maximize natural light and easy access to patios, decks, or gardens.

French Doors

A set of double doors with glass panels, typically hinged to swing open inward or outward. They add an elegant and classic look, providing a wide opening for ventilation and easy movement between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Front Entry Door Sidelight

A front entry door with sidelight features a glass panel on one or both sides, adding elegance and allowing more natural light inside. It enhances curb appeal and brightens the entryway, with designs ranging from modern minimalism to decorative glass patterns.

Everything You Need to Know –
Windows & Doors FAQ

To clean glass surfaces, use a mixture of water and a mild detergent or a standard glass cleaner. Apply the solution to a lint-free cloth or sponge and gently clean the glass. Rinse with clean water and remove excess moisture with a squeegee or a dry lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, rust removers, or sharp tools, as they can scratch the glass surface. For vinyl or wood frames, the same cleaning method applies, but be cautious not to oversaturate the surface to prevent damage.

Blinds between the glass are maintenance-free, child- and pet-safe, and easy to operate. To keep them in good working condition, ensure the glass remains clean, as dirt buildup can affect functionality. If the blinds become difficult to raise or lower, try cleaning the glass. If the blinds have been left in the raised position for an extended period, they may not lower smoothly—raising and lowering them multiple times should restore normal function. If they appear uneven, fully raise and lower them to realign.

If installing an air conditioner in a window, do not rest it directly on the window sill. Instead, place a 2×4-inch board inside the sill track, extending 1-2 inches above the sill to support the A/C unit.

Call us: (617) 488-8688 or send us the contact form.

We offer professional door installation, including handles, locks, and hinges. Customers have the option to provide their own hardware or choose from the selections we offer. For details on available handles, hinges, and locks, please refer to the manufacturers’ website.

Built-in blinds can be added to some types of patio doors. To reduce noise, a double-glazing option can be provided in some models. Some models of windows and doors can be painted at the factory both from the inside and outside. It is also possible to install grids in glass and it is also possible to install mosquito nets on half a window or on a whole window.

All windows and doors are ordered directly for each client separately and for their unique dimensions. Some window and door models can be painted in the colors required by the client.
